Shipping and installation are often the least glamorous parts of buying a luxury cold plunge, but they have the biggest impact on how smoothly the project goes. A premium product still needs a practical route into the home, the right power, the right drainage and qualified local professionals.

This guide explains what to expect before your plunge is delivered.

Production and lead time

Longevity Plunge products are made to order. Production time is typically around eight weeks before shipping. This allows the selected model, finish and accessories to be confirmed before manufacturing.

Because each product is configured for the customer, order details should be checked carefully before production begins. Finish, accessories, destination country, electrical specification and delivery address all matter.

Shipping price and delivery address

Shipping is calculated or confirmed based on product, region and delivery address. For customer-facing checkout, the aim is to provide an estimated curbside delivery price where possible. In some cases, the final cost may need to be verified before order confirmation, especially for remote addresses or complex access.

Applicable duties, taxes and customs charges may vary by country and are handled according to the confirmed commercial terms.

What curbside delivery means

Curbside delivery means delivery to the accessible delivery point at the customer address. It does not mean installation. It also does not necessarily include moving the product through the property, across landscaping, upstairs, onto a rooftop, into a wellness room or into its final installation position.

Movement from curbside to the final location should be arranged locally unless specifically confirmed in writing.

Installation is not included

Installation is not included as standard. The customer is responsible for hiring qualified local professionals for electrical, plumbing, drainage, lifting, handling, waterproofing and site preparation where required.

This is important because every home is different. Local professionals understand local codes, access conditions and site realities better than a remote seller can.

Unloading and access planning

Before delivery, the customer or project team should confirm the access route. Measure gates, paths, doors, stairs, lifts and turns. Check ground surfaces and slope. Protect finished floors and landscaping where needed.

Heavier models may require special handling. STIG requires particular attention: depending on the site, crane or forklift unloading may be needed. Tailgate delivery may not be suitable. This should be discussed before shipping.

Site preparation checklist

Before delivery, confirm:

  • final product location
  • clear access route
  • floor or terrace load capacity
  • electrical outlet/circuit
  • water feed
  • drainage
  • service access
  • unloading equipment if needed
  • local installer availability
  • protection for finished surfaces
  • inspection process on delivery

Delivery inspection

Products should be inspected as soon as reasonably possible after delivery. If packaging appears damaged, note this with the carrier where possible. Photograph the packaging and product before moving or unpacking further.

Visible damage, missing items or delivery discrepancies should be reported promptly with the order number, photographs and a written description.

Why planning matters

The best installations feel effortless because the logistics were not left until the last week. When the delivery route, power, water and local team are planned early, the product can arrive as part of a calm project sequence rather than a stressful event.

For architects and project managers, shipping and installation should be coordinated alongside flooring, decking, drainage and exterior works. For private buyers, a short pre-delivery consultation can prevent most practical issues.

FAQ

Is shipping included in the product price?

Shipping is calculated or confirmed based on product and destination. It should be reviewed before final order confirmation.

Does curbside delivery include installation?

No. Curbside delivery and installation are separate. Installation must be arranged locally unless otherwise agreed.

Does the product require a crane?

Some sites or models may require special unloading equipment. STIG in particular may require crane or forklift handling.

Who should prepare the site?

The customer should arrange qualified local professionals for electrical, plumbing, drainage and handling requirements.

Before ordering, request a delivery review so we can confirm the most suitable shipping and site preparation logic for your address.
